No more an incoming freshman and now just a freshman, No. 1 John Woodall (Franklin, MA) still holds the top spot. He’s followed by No. 2 Kylan Berry (Marshwood, ME) and No. 3 Scott Cole (Scituate, RI). No. 5 Nathan Morales (Andover, MA) drops down to this weight class from 113 and is on the hunt for that New England title.
The big news here? 2x New England qualifier No. 4 Caden Hughs (Ponaganset, RI) has changed weights and schools. Last season Hughs wrestled at 113lbs for Scituate High School in Rhode Island and now he is at 106 for Ponaganset.

Note that there are changes here as wrestlers move up and down from this weight class. One of the biggest movers comes in No. 9 Dominick Sousa (Smithfield, RI) who beat No. 15 Penn Boger (Concord-Carlisle, MA) and has a win over No. 10 Jaden Mendes (North Attleborough, MA). He is 2-1 against No. 13 Aidan Fogarty (Whittier Tech, MA).

The only change in the top eight is that some of the wrestlers have moved up after previously ranked No. 8 Chase Kastner transferred to Greens Farms Academy (Westport, CT). No. 9 Derek Marcolini (Milford, MA) comes into a loaded 120 weight class from 113lbs, and No. 10 Dylan Meyers (Ridgefield, CT) drops down from 126.
Meyers, a 2024 New England qualifier, claims a freestyle win over No. 4 Isaiah McDaniel (Middletown, CT) so hopefully these two can match up in folkstyle during the season. Freshman No. 18 Beckett LeClair (West Springfield, MA) enters the rankings, as does No. 19 Cooper Lang (Beverly, MA)

A new entry into the top three is No. 3 Evan Schibi (Gilbert/Torrington, CT). Schibi was a win away from All-American status back at Virginia Beach in April. Amirault does have a loss to No. 12 Alijah Sainsurin (La Salle Academy, RI), who had to medically forfeit to 6th place at the RIIL state championships.
No. 11 Landon Pease (Camden Hill, ME) is set to go at this weight class after previously wrestling at 126. No. 11 Riley Storozuk (East Hartford, CT) is the No. 2 public freshman in the class of 2028 and will bolster an already strong Stingers lineup.
