The Schwartz Report has decided to split up the girls rankings between the prep and public leagues. Here is our first set of CNESSPA Girls Rankings!

No. 1 Samantha Bertini (Ludlow, MA) claims the top spot here for now. Will the 2024 Fargo Champion move up? That is up to her. No. 2 Olivia Polansky (Bridgewater-Raynham, MA) won the 2024 George Bossi Lowell Tournament (MA) and No. 3 Sophia Gordon (South Windsor, CT) and No. 4 Daylianette Sanchez-Cardona (Platt, CT) came in fifth and sixth respectively at last season’s New Englands.

2024 New England Champion No. 1 Hannah Perro (Noble, ME) claims the top spot. She also won the Noble Invitational (ME). No. 2 Allison Patten came in 3rd at last year’s New Englands and No. 3 Selena Batres (Jonathan Law, CT) came in fourth. No. 4 Ava Svitsuanov (Belmont, MA) is on a roll this season, winning the Lowell Tournament back in December by defeating No. 7 Ana Felacio (Saugus/Peabody, MA) in the finals.

No. 1 Brooke Weafer (Bristol-Plymouth, MA) was a runner-up last year, beating No. 2 Sybella Landrie (Berlin, CT), who took the bronze medal. Both look to contend for gold this year.  No. 4 Mia Anello (Billerica, MA) has been wrestling at both 107lbs and 114lbs thus far this season.


No. 3 Kennedie Davis (Bridgewater-Raynham, MA) came in sixth last year at New Englands and won Lowell this season, beating No. 5 Brooke Lightfoot (Tewksbury, MA) in the finals.

These top two are something special. No. 1 Liz Donovan (Pelham, NH) ranked 16th in the country at 130lbs won Lowell, making her and her father the first father-daughter duo to win the tournament as he won the tournament in high school. No. 2 Chloe Ross (Scituate, RI) is no stranger to the big stage and she may be one of the best high school girl’s prospects we’ve seen in a long time.


No. 3 Lina Rodriguez (Norwalk, CT) came in third last year and No. 4 Adrianna DeGroat came in 5th.

No. 2 Amada Moundale (Lowell, MA), the top-ranked wrestler in Massachusetts, beat No. 4 Stella Christopher (Agawam, MA) in the finals of Lowell. No. 3 Marangelie Teixiera (Trumbull, CT) was the Connecticut State Champion and placed sixth at New Englands last season. Previously top ranked Emma Leonido (Hanover, MA) has reported to the Schwartz Report that she is out with an injury for the season.
