With the 23-24 school year coming to a close, it’s time to take a look at what the next scholastic season may bring.

Removing the class of 2024, this set of rankings consists of adjustments such as reported weight changes and transfers.

No. 1 Lily Runez (Choate, CT) has gone Prep leaving her old school (Keene, NH). Runez opted to wrestle in the boys division at Public New England's last year and recently got a win over No. 3 Samantha Bertini (Ludlow, MA).

Defending Public New England Champion No. 2 Hannah Perro (Noble, ME) is looking to repeat come 2025.

Choate (CT) coaching staff reports that 2x NHSCA National Champion No. 1 Calli Gilchrist will be moving up a weight class. Meanwhile, on the Public school side, incoming freshman No. 2 Chloe Ross has chosen Scituate High School in Rhode Island and will be coached under region legend Serge Bouyssou.

Four more 2024 Public New England placers find themselves ranked. No. 3 Delaney Frost (Noble, ME) took second, No. 4 Gonul Celik (East Haven, CT) took fourth, and No. 5 Adrianna DeGroat (Framingham, MA) beat No. 7 Cristel Miguel (Amity, CT) for fifth place.

No. 2 Liz Donovan (Pelham, NH)— a 2x DIII NH State champion against the boys—is always a threat. No. 3 Lina Rodriguez (Norwalk, CT) is another strong competitor who took third at this weight last year and was a match away from All-American status at NHSCA’s.
