There’s hardly been any movement here over the past two weeks.

No. 8 Devon Mateo (West Springfield, MA) enters the Top 20 after getting the pin over No. 9 Cole Glynn (Central Catholic, MA).

In other action, No. 2 Chase Kastner (Southington, CT) won the Timberlane Tournament beating No. 12 Aidan Morris (Haverhill, MA) in the finals. No. 3 Robby Newton (Scituate, RI) beat No. 11 Tommy Milligan (Newtown, CT) in the finals of the Colter Abely Mid-Season Classic. And Milligan faced No. 17 Zach Dixon (Xavier, CT) in the semi-finals. Dixon and Milligan are now 1-1 on the season against each other.

This weight class is one of the reasons the rankings were expanded to a top 20. 126 is by FAR the deepest weight class in the region. No. 3 Yandel Morales (Andover, MA) beat No. 4 Dylan Kadish (Newton South, MA) avenging a loss from the Lowell tournament. He should pose a good challenge to No. 2 Joe Mahoney (New Fairfield, CT) who placed 5th at the Eastern States Classic.

No. 7 Nathan Sayers (Xavieran, MA) won the Colter Abely Tournament, beating No. 9 Ben White (South Kingstown, RI) in the finals. White beat No. 11 Braylon Gonzalez (Xavier, CT) in the semis and Sayers beat No. 10 Isaac Quilles (East Hartford, CT). No. 13 John Carrozza (Ridgefield, CT) placed 5th in this bracket, but in the week prior he beat Sayers at the Eastern States Classic. No. 16 Kai Ly (Minnechaug, MA) beat No. 17 Robby Lyons (Milford, MA) and No. 15 Cooper Weibe (Monty Tech, MA) has a win over Ly from earlier in the season.

The top two here almost met in the finals of the Colter Abely, but an injury sidelined No. 2 Max Konopka (Simsbury, CT) from facing off against No. 1 Spencer Fine (Bishop Hendricken, RI).  There is no need to see a match between these two when both are not 100% healthy.

No. 3 Emmitt Nossman (Plymouth, NH) is a big mover in this set after beating No. 7 Isaac Preston (Vergeness, VT) and No. 8 Thomas Murphy (Champlain Valley, VT) to win Essex’s 2024 Michael J Baker Classic (VT). Also, No. 11 Gavin Fallon (Avon, CT) beat No. 12 Jack Gianetto (Narragansett, RI).

Arguably, the most movement occurred here. It started at the top when No. 3 Charles Weidman (Xavier, CT) won the Colter Abely in dominant fashion, beating No. 4 Sam Montovanni (East Hartford, CT) in the finals.

No. 7 Owen Matthews (Milford, MA) is back in the rankings—and a lot higher this time— after his win over No. 8 Elijah Prophette (Taunton, MA). Prohpette, meanwhile, beat No. 9 Benjahmin Wilcox to win the Cape Cod Invitational. No. 12 Andrew Miskosz (Southington, CT) placed second at the Timberlane Invitational, beating No. 13 Canton Hill (Sanford, ME) in the semis before losing to No. 2 Matt Harrold (Haverhill, MA).
